LECTURES

Week 01

In this first week, Mr Kanan introduced us about what task and projects we need to do in information design. Then, we formed groups of 6 or 7 people according to the same color in the name list. I was in group pink and I am the leader for group pink. Besides the class exercise group, we have another group is for the final animated inforgraphic group and it only allow 2 people in a group. 

Week 02

EXERCISES

Exercise 01 : "What is Inforgraphic" Slides (Group work)

After grouping we start to discuss about exercise one "What is Inforgraphic", we are required to create a short slide to describe what is inforgraphic.

Advantages
  • Not too much information
  • Clear instructions

Disadvantages
  • Background colour too bright, cannot clearly see the words
  • The poster too long

Changes: 
  • I change the background colour to more lighter and contrast with the words.
  • The images are more understanable.
  • The poster size more wider and shorter, this allows people to observe information without secondary operations.
