PROCESS WORK Audio Dubbing
In this project, we separaate into groups with 4 members, then we separate the task in the EEAAO video, every of us need to searching the sound effect for video clips in our parts and listed in a shared google sheets.

Then, we need to individualy record the dialog audio and add into the video clips.

I was take part in 07:00s - 14:00s in the video clips, then I started searching the sound effect in Freesound.

After searching the suitable sound effect, I download all in my file and import in Adobe Premium Pro.

Then, I record the dialog with my own voice and import into PR.

 After import all the audio and sound effect in PR, I started to experiment with different sound effect and find the most suitable one.

Followed by the tutorial, I added pitch shifter effect to all my audio, change teh value of them to create man, women and the officer lady voice.

I then place the sound effect in track 4 to 9, and edit them in the right place same step as the video clips.

Lastly, I checked all the audio and sound effect value by the Audio Track Mixer and make sure they are correct and create a contrast of voice.

AUDIO SHAPPING

In this exercise, we need to record 10s audio with our mother language, then edit them into phone call sound voice, voice coming from inside of the closet, underfround cave voice, and alien/orc voice through Adobe Audition.

- I add Parametric Eualizer (PE) effect on my voice and experiment with the Hz and Db of each point to create the phone call voice effect.

For the closet voice effect, I experiment with different value of PE effect, and apply the reverb effect smaller the room size, change the preset to room ambience 1 and edit the characteristic to create a effect a covered voice.

The Underground Cave voice effect only used reverb effect to create. I use Pumping Reverb and higher the all of the charateristic and output level value to get the closer sound effect of the echo in the underground cave.

At the first, I use pitch shitfter effect to lower the semi-tones to -9, to make my voice deeper and change the preset to stretch.

Then, I use the flanger effect, change the preset to Guita Flange and edit the characteristic value to be more futureristic.
REFLECTION

Findings

For this project 1, before started record my audio, I research on how to help with character dubbing in YouTube, I found that audio dubbing is not that easy. We need to feel what the character feel and imagine like we are the character then record. I thought that I can't do the audio dubbing properly and scared of that. But, after serching many video on how to dubbing as a beginner, I tried to do my best on the audio dubbing. Eventhough the audio dubbing is not perfectly, but I still happy with the result.

Observation 

During the audio edit process, I found that it's very interesting to add the sound effect in the video. At first, I feel very akward that when everytime I need to replay my voice and edit the pitch shifter value again and again and it also happened when I observed my friend work. As the frequency that I keep replay my audio and edit with the effect, I feel like it's already not my voice when I listen to them. The most uncomfortable part in this project is when I record my own voice in a quiet room and I need to retake it when I make a mistake, but after the audio record, the project is quite fun.

Experiments

Overall, I feel interesting and fun in this project, it makes me learn how to add effect to change the voice to be man or women and also make me feels fun when experiment with the voice at the same time. This skills is very useful to a creative media students and I comfirm that it can help me in my future like when I need to edit a trailor or advertisement.
